Fear Not, For I Am With You

Isaiah 41:10

‘Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’


What can we do when we're feeling overwhelmed by something; when we’re afraid, fearful, dismayed, anxious, discouraged or frustrated? When we're feeling like a helpless worm? Where can we find security, peace and comfort?

Sacrifice and Glory

"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."

“Whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.”


To belong to Christ and to be His disciple is not only a huge pleasure and privilege but also a huge duty and obligation. There are those who only desire the pleasure and not the duty. Jesus says those people are not worthy of either. They shall not receive either. Thus we must desire to forsake ourselves in order to accomplish the duty and obligation of being Christ's disciple. What does this involve for us?
